Tower Talk

At the meeting last night, we were encouraged to spend time between meetings meditating upon the Scripture brought out in the prayer time. For that purpose, I am including the Scripture references and their context in the prayers for your use as the Spirit leads you.

Scripture References from the September 21, 2006 Throneroom meeting:

Concerning need for discernment, acceptability to Muslims of lying to 'unbelievers and infidels,' and desire for President Bush to receive wise counsel from someone who knows and can explain the Muslim culture so that he and our nation are not so naïve in their dealings with Muslim leaders and nations: Col. 2:8

Concerning spirit of lethargy and need for Watchmen to awaken: Joel 2 and Ephesians 5:8-17, Isaiah 60:1-3

concerning living righteously for the sake of the children Hosea 4:6 and the blessings and curses of Deuteronomy; but also the promise of Malachi 4:6 & Psalms 149 and 99.

General Impressions
There is a feeling that there has been a "switch" from the defensive mode to the "aggressive" mode. We are no longer to sit back and say, "woe is me." We are to be the Josuah's and the Caleb's who spy out the land and listen for the "sound in the mulberry bush." God is wanting each of us to understand that EACH OF US, are able through Christ to be his HANDS AND FEET. We are the David's, Abigails, Esther's, Sampson's, Joshua's , Caleb's and on goes the list, of those who will do EXPLOITS, for the Lord!

HOW DO WE GET THERE
1. God must settle us in, and we must set aside our "precious " time and offer it unto the Lord. It is a sacrifice unto the Lord. But the Lord delights in our sacrifice, and when we give it to him HE WILL CONSUME THE SACRIFICE. (NO PAIN, NO GAIN!).
   
2. We must meditate, and ask the Lord questions, and ponder upon the things he gives us!
   
   
3. As we come together with other prayer members, we Praise Him, worship him, pray in the spirit, UNTIL HE SHOWS UP!
   
   
4. When you engage GOD, he will engage YOU! That is when prophetic words, and pictures begin to come forth. This is moving with God, and he DELIGHTS IN THIS. He wants to give us the Treasures of Darkness, but we must PRACTICE, MOVING IN THE SPIRIT.
   
   
5. We must LOOK FOR OTHER LIKE- MINDED PEOPLE to pray with, to become that "Prayer Altar" that is built for the Lord in the EARTH!
RIGHT NOW.....
We believe that the Lord is "SOUNDING THE ALARM" and we are to muster every able-bodied man and woman, to gather the troops in prayer and prophetic words to be released into the EARTH! The Lord says, "Prepare yourself, and arise, speak to them all that I command you. Do not be not dismayed before their faces, lest I dismay you before them. For behold, I have made you this day, a fortified city and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, the kings, the princes, its priests, and against the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they shall NOT PREVAIL AGAINST YOU FOR I AM WITH YOU, SAYS THE LORD, TO DELIVER YOU!"

IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER TO:
• Search our hearts first and clean out the demons from our lives first. Satan, cannot cast out Satan.
• Look for the Lords timing not ours.
• Look for like-minded people in the church to move in UNITY WITH. (Develop a group such as ours).
• Put on the full armour in prayer and fasting.
IN CONCLUSION
This is the season for war. Dutch Sheets said there will be (2) winds blowing. One will be the spirit of God across the body to empower and strengthen with signs and wonders the body of Christ. The other wind will be the enemy--which you can see from the prophetic insights from the prayer time. WE ARE IN WAR, and God intends us to understand the times and the seasons--to speak to the atmosphere and change the outcome!
